Using the site
You may use this site for your own lawful purposes: reading about the awards, making a nomination, buying tickets and contacting us. You must not misuse it. That includes attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, scraping content at scale, or using it in any way that damages the site or interferes with anyone else’s use of it.
Nominations
Anyone may submit a nomination, including nominating themselves. By submitting one you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you are content for us to share it with our judging panel. Nominations close on the date published on the site. Judging decisions are final, and we do not enter into correspondence about individual scores. We may decline or withdraw a nomination that is abusive, defamatory, or clearly not made in good faith.
Content you submit
You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting it you give us permission to use it for the purpose of running and promoting the awards, for example quoting a nomination when announcing a shortlist or winner. Tell us when you submit if you would prefer your words were not quoted publicly, and we will respect that.
Our content
The text, design, logos and photographs on this site belong to Liquid Lime Ltd or to the photographers and sponsors who have licensed them to us. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not republish our content commercially, or use our name or logo to imply an endorsement, without our written permission. Requests are welcome at info@ediawards.co.uk.
Photography at the event
The awards evening is photographed and filmed, and those images are used to promote future awards. If you would prefer not to be photographed, tell a member of the team on the night and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another organisation’s website (a sponsor, a venue, a partner, we do not control what is on it and we are not responsible for its content.
Availability and accuracy
We try to keep the site available and its information current, particularly dates and prices. We cannot promise it will always be available or entirely free of errors. Where something on the site turns out to be wrong, we will correct it as soon as we can.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
